The Idle has unbridled community support at all levels:

  + Fletcher Place Neighborhood Association,
  + Southeast Neighborhood Development Inc. (SEND),
  + Keep Indianapolis Beautiful,
  + City Council member, Jeff Miller,
  + and the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT).

Additionally, many neighborhood residents have volunteered to help make The Idle happen, from planning to marketing to providing materials & labor.

With adequate funding, The Idle is positioned to be completed in less than 90 days so that the neighborhoods can once again be reconnected.
